Full Screen Quicktime Comes Early
It’s been touted that Full Screen viewing of movies will be coming to Quicktime in Leopard, but lo and behold, it’s here now. Check your Software Update right now for Quicktime 7.2 which, among other things, includes full screen viewing. Considering it’s truly baffling that functionality like this has been missing from Quicktime up until this point, this is a welcome addition. This means that you don’t need to use one of the many workarounds anymore, such as going through Front Row or iTunes, or using the AppleScript I posted about previously.
Maybe Apple will start including some other really obvious features in their software from this point on. Although I’m not getting my hopes up.
