Why I Love Finding New Blogs

I had a bit of a crazy day yesterday. By mid-afternoon I had added five new blogs to my feed reader. This is quite a big deal for me as I’ve already got quite a few subscriptions in my feed reader, far too many in fact. But nevertheless, I still love finding new blogs. You know that when you add them there will be a nice collection of back posts sitting in the feed waiting for you to explore. Many of these posts then link to other content. It’s like opening a package, inside that package is a present along with another package, and inside that package is another present and another package. The number of presents you get is only limited by the amount of time you have to spend opening them. So everytime I find a new blog that seems worth my time, it feels like some strange Christmas morning. So which blogs did I add? Read on.

The strange thing about the blogs I came across yesterday is that they are all quite popular and all sit within one of the niches I write about, blogging. I’ve read every single one of them int he past but never quite got over the hurdle of subscribing to them, yesterday I did, and I’m glad. For those of you interested, the blogs I subscribed to are: -

• Daily Blog Tips - Does exactly what is says on the tin. A new blogging tip every day.
• Blogtrepreneur - Entrpreneurship through blogging.
• Dosh Dosh - Money Making online.
• Nate Whitehill - Business, Blogging and Web Development.
• North x East - Weekly articles about blogging. Very well written and conceived, it’s like A List Apart but for bloggers.

I’d throughly recommend each of the blogs if you are a blogger looking to improve, and A List Apart if you do any design or development.
