Starting a New Blog - A New Series

Recently, I started a brand new blog.  This is by no means the first blog I’ve started, and probably won’t be the last.  So as I embark on this new journey, I’m going to post about my experiences here.  Initially, I’ve got the following posts planned:

  • 5 Things to do when thinking of starting a new blog
  • 5 Things to do when launching a new blog
  • How to break into a new niche
  • 5 Things to do one month after starting a new blog
  • 5 Regular blogging tasks

So that’s what I’ve got planned in the coming months.  The reason I’m going to write about these aspects of starting a new blog is simple, I had to sit down and use my experience when looking at this new blog, I considered all five points listed above.  I can see my thoughts being of use to bloggers in a similar position.

I’ll come back and update this post with links as I get the content up.  Is there any aspect of starting a new blog you are curious about?  If so, drop it in the comments.
