I didn't pick up an iPhone until the 3g came out. And you're right, the people who were complaining about the iPlayer being incompatible with OSX probably weren't complaining about it supporting the iPhone. Most likely because they are Apple users and <em>had an iPhone</em>. It would be a bit odd for them to complain about a device they own being supported. There were, however, plenty of other people complaining when this was announced though, as is always the case. Actually, even the non-3g iPhone sold more than the N95 in Europe (Source) and I was an N95 owner when I wrote this post. I didn’t pick up an iPhone until the 3g came out.
