Eventhough I just pre-orered the iPhone 3GS, I very muvh enjoy using my Nokia E71 for this particular reason - seeing the next upcoming calendar events without the need to do anything manual. In my case manual update is not practical, as I have multiple calendar entries / updates per day. In my mind, iPhone's Sleep Screen would be the perfect place for information like this, immediately available for viewing without even unlocking the phone. Hopefully to be seen (as a simple option in the Calendar software) in the next OS version... Thank you Simon for the Interesting workaround.
