The Oak Innovations Blog contains unique content, especially written by the authors for this blog. Generally, we cover the internet, technology, blogging and Apple. We cover these topics because 1) that’s what interests us and 2) we deal with these areas every single day. This may not make us particularly qualified, but we’re fans of collective learning, so everything we do learn we’ll share.

The general rule on this blog is, we don’t regurgitate what others have written. Every post is unique, hand crafted and considered. At times this means we don’t post as often as we should. Hopefully you’ll agree that original, interesting content is worth waiting that extra little bit for.

About Me

The main contributer to this blog is Simon Thomas who works as a Business Analyst specialising in web based applications and usability. He is based in the South West of England having grown up in South Wales. We also have occasional contributers and of course, you the readers are encouraged to contribute through comments and blog based discussions. Our Policies

We don’t accept payment for posts. This policy currently includes all so called “pay per post” programs and monetary incentives for reviews. If you do want us to review a product you produce, we will accept a review version which we will then either return to yourselves or offer to our readership.

Please comment. We like comments and encourage you to leave comments wherever you think it make be appropriate. Generally we are pretty lenient with comments, you can add links to your own content and a link to your website will appear under your name. Because of spam, any comment that has more than two links contained within it will be held for moderation, you will also need to enter a valid email address to comment. We will not sell on your address at any stage but we may use it ourselves to contact you, but only if we think you’ll like what we have to say. We also have numerous automated and manual spam prevention processes in place. The same policy holds true for messages you send using the contact form.

We carry advertisements. This site is funded through advertisments. The majority of these are contextual, meaning they should only display adverts that are relevant to the content you are viewing. If you wish to advertise on this site you can do so through AdBrite or you can contact us to arrange a custom plan.
